Bet These Five Players to Score a Touchdown on NFL Sunday

Wild Card Weekend in the NFL is here, and it starts with three games on Saturday. The schedule on Sunday is as follows:

Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans, 1:05 pm ET

Chicago Bears at New Orleans Saints, 4:40 pm ET

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers, 8:15 pm ET

It’s no secret that players are going to score touchdowns this weekend - and touchdown props offer some nice value when considering a betting strategy.

Here are five guys to bet on scoring a touchdown this NFL Sunday.

JK Dobbins, Baltimore

The Ravens offense has an advantage on the ground against a middling Titans rush defense - and JK Dobbins has been the main man of late.

With double-digit carries in each of his last six games and at least one touchdown in each of those games, Dobbins is good value to score again on Sunday. Baltimore’s identity is to get the ground-game established, and the rookie Dobbins is coming on strong.

In what is expected to be a high-scoring affair, there’s plenty of touchdowns to go around. Dobbins is currently +125 to score a touchdown.

Derrick Henry, Tennessee

Sticking with the Ravens-Titans game, Derrick Henry is an easy choice to score a touchdown. Oddsmakers agree as the odds are at -200, not tremendous when looking for a touchdown prop.

However, Henry has continued his dominance, scoring a remarkable 17 touchdowns this year on top of his 2,027 rushing yards. The Titans offense has an advantage both on the ground and through the air, and it will start with Henry.

AJ Brown, Tennessee

When a game is projected for the most points of the weekend, it’s wise to get involved with as many players as you can, so we’ll continue that trend with AJ Brown, the Titans star receiver. Brown has 11 touchdowns this year as the leading receiver for Tennessee. He leads the team with 106 targets, and in a potential shootout, will have his opportunities to find pay dirt.

Brown has scored in five of his last seven games, one of which was against this very Baltimore team. Expect a big game from Brown on Sunday. Brown is +125 to score.

Jared Cook, New Orleans

With Michael Thomas out the last three games of the regular season, Jared Cook emerged as one of the top weapons in the New Orleans passing attack, scoring seven touchdowns. On paper, the Saints should have a slight edge in the air against the Bears secondary, and Cook stands to benefit.

He leads all New Orleans pass-catchers in red zone opportunities - a great metric to determine value on a touchdown prop. Cook offers nice value, listed at +160 to score.

Nick Chubb, Cleveland

In the night game, it’s an AFC North battle, and Chubb is my favorite to score. The Steelers defense, while still ranked as one of the best in the league, is slipping of late.

In comes Chubb, the top running back on a run-first team. Cleveland played Pittsburgh just a week ago - a game in which Chubb broke free for a long touchdown run.

On the year, the running back has 12 touchdowns and will be leaned on heavily as the Browns attempt an upset win. Currently at +110 to get a touchdown, Chubb should have plenty of opportunities to score, which is all we can ask for.
