Jaquiski Tartt, the American football safety who recently re-signed with the 49ers on a one-year contract, is one of 32 current and former players who will announce their teams' second-round draft picks.
A total of 90 players are expected to participate in the draft, including 13 in-person draft prospects and 45 remote draft prospects.
Defensive end Myles Garrett(Browns), defensive back Byron Jones (Dolphins), line backer Demario Davis(Saints), defensive lineman Rashan Gary (Packers), and wide receiver Darius Slayton are among the active players expected to participate (Giants).
49ers quarterback prospects Mac Jones (Alabama)and Trey Lance (North Dakota State) are among the 13 players expected to attend the draft in person.
Justin Fields (Ohio State), a quarterback candidate for the 49ers, is identified as a remote participant, as is projected first overall pick quarterback Trevor Lawrence (Clemson). Offensive lineman Penei Sewell (Oregon), cornerback Jaycee Horn (South Carolina), defensive end Kwity Paye (Michigan), and running back Najee Harris are among the other prominent remote participants (Alabama).
The 2021 NFL draft will take place in Cleveland, with the first round on April 29. Rounds2 and 3 will be on April 30, while Rounds 4 through 7 will be on May 1.
