Tony Goes to the Super Bowl at 1:00 P.M. Eastern
Ever since CBS announced this part of the pregame programming, it has been heavily anticipated by football fans all over the world. Tony Romo burst onto the scene as a commentator following his playing career. He is one of the best on television at his craft, and he is also a phenomenal interviewer.
In “Tony Goes to the Super Bowl,” the broadcaster will interview Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, and Russell Wilson. All these legends will share their favorite memories from their Super Bowl appearances.
The Super Bowl Today at 2–6 P.M. Eastern
The Super Bowl Today is when the official pregame programming will begin on CBS. This show will take place live from Raymond James Stadium. CBS favorites including James Brown, Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher, Phil Simms, and Nate Burleson will provide their thoughts on the Chiefs and the Buccaneers.
This will be similar to the NFL Today show on a regular season Sunday. There will be special guests all afternoon from the NFL and other celebrities outside of the game.
The Super Bowl on CBS Kick-Off Show at 6:00 P.M. Eastern
This will be the final pregame broadcast before kickoff at 6:30 P.M. Eastern. If you want to see the pregame Super Bowl pageantry, this is the show that you must watch. In this segment, you will see the National Anthem sung by Grammy nominees Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan.
