The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will start the 2021 NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys

The NFL schedule 2021 has been released.

 

On Thursday, September 9, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will open their defence of their Super Bowl title by hosting the Dallas Cowboys at Raymond James Stadium to kick off the 2021 NFL season.

 

The Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars will host the New York Jets and MiamiDolphins, respectively, for the first time in NFL history. The league will also return to London after a year away, with the Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, respectively.

 

In other Week One matchups, Sam Darnold will face his former New York Jets teammate Zach Wilson, who was traded to the Carolina Panthers to make room for the No. 2 overall selection, and Trevor Lawrence faces the Houston Texans in his first game with the Jaguars.

 

The Detroit Lions will host the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day, as is customary, before the Raiders face the Cowboys and the Bills take on the New Orleans Saints on the road.

 

Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns will try to stamp their authority on the Packers at Lambeau Field on Christmas Day, while the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals fight it out for a playoff spot.
