According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Minnesota Vikings have sought to interview Eagles VP of football operations Catherine Raiche for the vacant general manager position.
According to Garafolo, this is the first GM interview request for a woman in NFL history.
Susan Tose Spencer, who also worked for the Eagles as a VP and legal counsel, took over as GM in 1983-85 after being elevated by her father, former owner Leonard Tose.
The Vikings also wanted to interview Eagles director of player personnel Brandon Brown, according to Garafolo.
The Vikings are on the lookout for a new general manager after firing senior executive Rick Spielman and head coach Mike Zimmer on Monday.
In May 2021, Raiche was promoted to her present executive position with the Eagles. She started with the team as a football operations/player personnel coordinator in 2019.
Raiche, a Montreal native, served as the Montreal Alouettes' coordinator of football administration from 2015 to 2017, before becoming the team's associate general manager in 2017. She worked as the director of football administration for the Toronto Argonauts for the next two years.
