Christian Scotland-Williamson, a former American football player, has joined English champions Harlequins.
Three years after leaving Worcester to join the Pittsburgh Steelers as a tight end, the 27-year-old returns to rugby union as a second rower for Quins.
Through the NFL's International Player Pathway Program, he was added to the Steelers' practise squad. He did not, however, appear in a single game for the six-time Super Bowl champions.
"I have learned some valuable lessons from my time in America and am coming back to rugby with a different perspective," Scotland-Williamson told the Harlequins website.
Scotland-Williamson is one of three former Premiership players who have recently attempted to make the jump to the NFL. Christian Wade, a former Wasps and England player, is in his third season with the Buffalo Bills as a running back.
Wade, 30, made his NFL debut in 2019 with a 65-yard touchdown on his first play in a preseason game, but has yet to play in a regular season game.
