The Buccaneers won their Super Bowl title defence against the Cowboys on Thursday night. On Thursday night, Tom Brady orchestrated a spectacular drive with under two minutes left in the game to set up kicker Ryan Succop for the game-winning field goal, giving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a thrilling 31-29 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

Succop was given the opportunity to kick a 36-yard field goal and he delivered.

Before Brady's drive, the Cowboys had a brief lead in the game. With about 2 minutes left in the game, Greg Zuerlein converted a 48-yard field goal to put them up 29-28.

Zuerlein struggled throughout the game, missing two field-goal tries and an extra-point try following a touchdown. He did, though, put the Cowboys ahead when it mattered most.

After a costly Buccaneers turnover, the field-goal attempt was set up. Godwin had taken a pass from Tom Brady and attempted to muscle his way into the end zone, but he went overboard. He fumbled the ball, which Jourdan Lewis recovered, giving Dallas a chance to take the lead.

Brady finished the game 32-for-50 with 379 passing yards and four touchdown passes. He had two touchdown passes to Gronkowski and one each to Godwin and Antonio Brown.
